Who We Are
The team behind FreightFigures has spent decades in the trenches of US import/export logistics. Our primary operations are based at the Port of Charleston, where we've operated as a licensed Customs Bonded 3PL since 1995. Over 30 years working directly with importers, freight carriers, and customs brokers has given us an up-close view of where shippers get burned.
Surprise reclassifications. Tariff stacking confusion. Accessorial fee shock. Inaccurate duty estimates. We've seen it all. We understand the tools because we've used them, and more often, we've had to build our own spreadsheets because nothing free existed that was accurate enough.
Why We Built FreightFigures
Existing free tools are fragmented across dozens of sites, often outdated, and rarely reflect current tariff schedules.

The tariff landscape changed dramatically in 2025–2026 and most calculators still reflect 2019 rates.

Every calculator cites its data source. Freight class follows NMFTA Docket 2025-1. Duty rates reflect published Federal Register notices.
